Forward, Texas Fort Worth

First off, before Elder Dekker left to go home, we went and saw a family that we found after starting various lessons one Sunday a few weeks ago. We sent them over to the English missionaries, and now, six weeks after their first contact with the missionaries, they are getting married and baptized! That is the fastest progression I have seen thus far and I cannot wait to go see the sacred ordinances happen! They are so ready it is not even funny!

My new companion, Elder Aguirre, arrived this Wednesday and we got right to work! It was a very busy week and we have already learned a lot from each other!
We have been able to already help many of the families we have been visiting progress towards baptism!  It's obvious how much the Lord is blessing the people here to receive the gospel! The members are really involved and really attached to the investigators. I love the way President Ames said it about this stake after stake conference: "that stake is so happy! It's the happiest stake!" It's so true and when the people see how happy their friends and family are they want to be that happy! And that happiness comes from the fullness of the gospel!

God Bless Texas! I am Elder Black. Thus I end mine epistle.
