This has been a great week! First off, looking at the Standards of
Excellence daily has really helped us out! (Standards of Excellence are
something President Sagers sets to help us be better missionaries.) One
of the things we noticed at Zone Conference was that President mentioned
to look at them, and we also remembered he had been encouraging us to
do the same in your weekly reminders. So on planning day we noticed
that we could set 4 baptismal dates a week. We had the inspiration to
pick a date for all of our investigators to try to set with them in our
next visit. The next day we were able to set 3 baptismal dates! It's
amazing what the Lord will do for you if you listen to the counsel of
your leaders and you make plans and follow through!
The three investigators to be baptized this month are Alicia on the 23rd, Vanesa and her son Jose on the 23rd. Alicia really wants to continue learning and we have noticed an increase in her righteous desires.
