For me Conference seemed directed towards specific people!!! Missionaries as a group were addressed a ton! The entire first session to me seemed to apply really well to one of our investigators. I must have come up with a million ways all of those talks about forgiveness and trials will help her overcome her fear of growing closer to God. We're really grateful for this direction! Elder Munoz and I really love her and just want her to feel the Spirit and experience the blessings we know she will receive!!! It kind of breaks your heart sometimes when you know what will bless someone and help them get through everything they say they can't deal with, but they won't act on it! Elder Munoz and I decided we need to start from the basics with her. We are determined to do everything that is possible to help her feel the truth of the Book of Mormon!
This last week we also had a fantastic lesson with another investigator! We had it in the church because his house is three families in a three-bedroom duplex, so it's pretty crazy! But it was so much calmer in the church! We showed them the baptismal font, and they committed to be baptized on the 20th!!! We are so happy for them! The husband has been very careful about his seeking for the truthfulness of his church, but the testimony of his wife (member) helped him to know this is true!
